A large number of athletes revised their PBs and won medals on a weekend of fairly miserable weather in the fair county of Nottinghamshire. Last year some of our athletes suffered sunburn. Well, there was definitely no risk of that in Nottingham. On a different note, I must say I was very envious of the lovely new Notts AC Clubhouse - what a facility. The photo is courtesy of Terry Fowler and depicts three Buxtonian veterans who all had a good championships (Terry with a medal of each colour and Andy who set a new Championship Best time over 3000 m!). A number of athletes revised their PBs on a lovely day in South Yorkshire. This bodes well for the upcoming County Championships. Don Valley stadium is also a lovely track to run on. The team photo is courtesy of Terry Fowler. The picture is clickable for a better view.

Eight Buxtonians took part in the Cloud Nine fell race on Sunday 5th March, though only seven of them were caught on camera. I am hoping that these photographs will not unduly increase the download time. These photographs, which are clickable for a better view, are courtesy of Bryan Dale.
