Overall Championship Standings

Championship Format for 2008

The format for the 2008 Club Championships will be as follows:

There will be 10 races, with 6 to count
There will be a deadline of 30 November 2008 so that winning places can be sorted before the Christmas Party when trophies/prizes will be awarded
There will be a male and female category
The first Buxton AC runner in any of the races will be given 1 point, 2 for the second, etc., and the person (male and female) to have least points at the end of November will be the winner of the Championships
Results should be given to Nigel Critchlow who is overseeing the Championships (e-mail: ncc7420S(at)tiscali.co.uk or tel: 01298 - 73028)

Please replace the (at) with a @, when sending the results to Nigel. Please make Nigel's life easier by unpromptedly assuming responsibility for obtaining a set of offical results.

You can choose any half-marathon or marathon, with the proviso that the races are held on or before 30 November 2008.

We will announce the upcoming races before the training sessions and also remind you via the website.
